Neue Post GmbH processes your personal data in accordance with the DSGVO on the basis of the law, the contract or your consent.
3 Type of data processed
For our part, we only process your personal data that you provide to us on the occasion of our contractual relationship or with regard to a pre-contractual relationship (e.g. booking request) - this includes, for example, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth. In addition, we store all data of our communication exchange, such as booking history, your enquiries, contracts, hotel services used etc.
If you use special services (especially hotel WLAN), further data will be processed. This will be pointed out separately.
4 Purpose and legal basis of processing
When you contact us via our website, make a booking, register for our newsletter or otherwise make use of our services, the data provided in the form will be stored by us. If an enquiry or booking process is cancelled, no data is stored.
We process your personal data in order to fulfil our pre-contractual obligations, such as answering your enquiries, to fulfil the contract and the associated ancillary services, such as accounting, provision of services, etc. and to comply with our legal obligations.
The legal basis for data processing is therefore the contract or the pre-contractual relationship as well as the Austrian legal system, insofar as it results in statutory retention obligations. Should the processing not be required for contractual purposes, it will be carried out on the basis of your consent.
5. newsletters and advertising mailings, competitions
If you have given your consent, your data will also be used for advertising and information purposes, for example to inform you with newsletters or offers or to invite you to participate in competitions. You can revoke your consent at any time using this link. We will then immediately delete your e-mail address from our newsletter system.
6. Use of the hotel WLAN
If you use our WLAN network, data of this Internet connection (traffic data), such as in particular the IP address, MAC address, access time and duration of the connection, will be stored. No content data is stored. Data storage and deletion is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the TKG (Telecommunications Act).
7. payment systems
When booking via the hotel's online booking and payment system, you can pay by credit card. For this purpose, you will be forwarded to a credit card payment system. There you can enter the credit card data directly. This data is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling the payment.
8. storage of data
Your data will only be stored as long as it is required for the above-mentioned purpose or as long as it is necessary due to legal storage obligations or justified for the protection of legitimate interests, such as the defence against claims for damages.
Beyond this, data will only be stored on the basis of your consent until revoked. Despite the existence of your consent, we are not obliged to store data permanently and can therefore delete your data at any time.
In accordance with the provisions of the TKG, the traffic data of WLAN connections will be stored or deleted.
9. Transmission of data
Data will only be transferred to third parties, in particular to external service providers such as IT service providers, tax consultants or accountants, if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. The data may also be forwarded to lawyers or authorities if this is necessary to protect our legitimate interests.
We would like to point out that we are authorised and obliged under the conditions of § 99 para 5 TKG to pass on traffic data from WLAN connections to courts, public prosecutors and authorities.
Order processing contracts within the meaning of Art. 28 DSGVO are concluded with service providers.
The data transfer and storage takes place via servers of our IT service provider and our payment service provider located in the EU / EEA. There is no transmission to third countries.
10. Data security
We take appropriate, state-of-the-art precautions and technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.
It cannot be ruled out that, despite our best efforts, information you transmit to us via the Internet or other telecommunications networks may be accessed and used by other persons. We accept no liability for such unauthorised use of your data by third parties.
11. your rights
As a data subject, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing. In addition, you have the right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing as well as blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data. You may revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time.
